A hillfort by Lake Seirijai – one of the most important archaeological monuments of Dzūkija.

Seirijai Hillfort stands on a hill by Lake Seirijai in southeastern Lithuania. It is one of the most important hillforts in the Dzūkija region, attesting to the network of ancient settlements in southern Lithuania. The hillfort was used from the 1st millennium BC to the medieval period. Archaeological finds show that a fortified settlement with defensive structures existed here. The hillfort offers views of Lake Seirijai and the surrounding forests. The site is peaceful and near Dzūkija National Park.
