A legendary Samogitian hill associated with the witch Šatrija – one of the most mythologically significant places in Lithuania.

Šatrija is a legendary Samogitian hill reaching 228.7 m above sea level. According to Lithuanian mythology, witches and sorcerers gathered on this hill, and it is named after the witch Šatrija. It is one of the five mythological Samogitian hills (along with Medvėgalis, Girgždūtė, Rambynas, and Sprūdė). The summit offers wide views of the hilly Samogitian lowlands. The hillfort is easily accessible with a parking area and a marked trail to the top.
