Vistytis Lake Beach
A beach on Lake Vištytis – the deepest lake in Suvalkija, right at the Russian border. A rare natural gem.
Vištytis Lake Beach is located on Lake Vištytis – one of the most beautiful and deepest (52 m) lakes in Suvalkija, situated right at the Lithuanian-Russian (Kaliningrad) border. The lake water is very clean and transparent. The beach is small but cozy, with a sandy shore. Vištytis Regional Park protects unique nature – rare plant and animal species can be found here. Nearby is the small town of Vištytis with its church and old houses. This is one of the most remote but also most beautiful places in Lithuania.
