The Museum of Applied Arts and Design operates in the historic Vilnius Arsenal building, located near Gediminas Hill. The museum belongs to the Lithuanian Art Museum and presents a broad collection of applied art – from medieval ecclesiastical textiles to contemporary Lithuanian design. The exhibitions feature ceramics, glass, jewelry, furniture making, textiles, and fashion history. Temporary exhibitions often explore the intersection of design and art, presenting works by both Lithuanian and international creators. The building itself is a valuable architectural landmark. The museum organizes creative workshops and educational programs.
