The National Gallery of Art is one of the most important modern art spaces in Lithuania, operating in the former Museum of Revolution building on the Neris River in Vilnius. The gallery presents a broad collection of 20th–21st century Lithuanian art, encompassing painting, sculpture, graphics, photography, and video art. The building was reconstructed in 2009 and adapted for contemporary exhibition needs. The permanent exhibition features works by the most prominent Lithuanian artists, while temporary exhibitions present current contemporary art trends. The gallery regularly organizes educational programs and cultural events.
