Lithuanian National Museum

The Lithuanian National Museum is the oldest and largest museum in the country, founded in 1855 as the Museum of Antiquities. Its collections encompass over a million exhibits – from Stone Age finds to late 20th-century historical documents. The main exhibition is housed in the New Arsenal at the foot of Gediminas Hill in Vilnius. The museum also administers Gediminas Tower, the House of the Signatories, and other historic sites.
