Raudonė Hillfort stands on the left bank of the Nemunas, near the famous Raudonė Castle tower. The hillfort is part of Panemuniai Regional Park, which is rich in hillforts and castles. It was an ancient settlement site; later a 16th-century Renaissance castle was built nearby, whose tower is one of the tallest in Lithuania (33.5 m). The hillfort and castle tower offer stunning views of the Nemunas valley. The site is perfect for exploring Lithuanian history and enjoying Panemuniai nature.
